Uitnodiging Multi Solo tentoonstelling
Graag nodigen we jullie uit voor de opening van de nieuwe Multi Solo tentoonstelling op donderdag 12 december om 19.00 uur in TETEM kunstruimte in Enschede. De opening is tegelijk met de opening van de nieuwe medialab tentoonstelling Nomadic Sand Bath. De kunstenaars die aan de Multi Solo meedoen zijn: Aquil Copier, Balta, C.A. Wertheim, Daphne ter Wee, David Bade, Ewoud Bakker, Joanneke Meester, Maarten van Aken, Marie Janin, MeesterCopier, Mette Sterre en Nikki Rosa Ootjers en Veerle Ritstier.
Multi Solo’s zijn jaarlijkse tentoonstellingen georganiseerd door TETEM kunstruimte waarvoor een open call wordt uitgeschreven aan jonge en gevestigde kunstenaars. Iedere editie wordt een andere curator uitgenodigd om een selectie te maken op basis van de inzendingen. De curator van de komende Multi Solo is Annelien Kers (eigenaar Kers Galleryen organisator van ONGEKEND Young Masters @ Auction) die de kunstenaars heeft opgeroepen om werken in te sturen binnen het thema ‘Kunst als subversieve daad’. De kunstenaars zijn gevraagd om in opstand te komen vanuit hun diepste gevoelens, om tegen de waarden en normen van de maatschappij in te gaan, om bestaande wetten en bepalingen te overtreden en om dogma’s te doorbreken. Om iets nieuws te scheppen dat de toeschouwer in de ziel raakt, dat verwart en tot nadenken stemt, maar ook ontroert en door puurheid tot nieuwe schoonheid komt.
Multi Solo ‘Kunst als subversieve daad’ is geopend voor publiek van 5 december 2013 t/m 12 januari 2014, maandag t/m zondag van 11.00-17.00. De toegang is gratis. We would like to invite you to the opening of the new Multi Solo exhibition on Thursday, December 12th at 7 pm in TETEM art space in Enschede. The opening is combined with the opening of the new medialab exhibition Nomadic Sand Bath. The participating Multi Solo artists are: Aquil Copier, Balta, C.A. Wertheim, Daphne ter Wee, David Bade, Ewoud Bakker, Joanneke Meester, Maarten van Aken, Marie Janin, MeesterCopier, Mette Sterre and Nikki Rosa Ootjers and Veerle Ritstier. The Multi Solo’s are annual exhibitions organized by TETEM art space and an open call to young and established artists. Each edition, another curator is invited to make a selection based on the proposals. The curator of the upcoming Multi Solo is Annelien Kers (owner Kers Gallery and organizer of ONGEKEND Young Masters @ Auction) who has invited the artists to send in proposals within the theme ‘Art as a subversive act’. The artists were asked to stand up from within their deepest feelings, to break with existing laws and regulations and to stand up against the values and norms of society. To make something new that touches the soul, something that is confusing and thought-provoking, but also moving and by its purity creates new beauty. Multi Solo ‘Art as a subversive act’ is open to the public from 5 December 2013 until 12 January 2014, Monday – Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Entrance is free.
